Hi.
We have had the opportunity to get to know your son as he has faithfully served in the Independence 3rd
Ward since he came on his mission. We have been really impressed with
his commitment. Recently we have had the opportunity to have the
missionaries move into our home and live with us. The three of them
have brought a great spirit into our home. We are grateful to be
sharing our home with the Elders. They are so grateful to be out of the
apartment the three of them were sharing. It was very cramped, whereas
know they have lots of room to move around in and space to really
spread out. As you may or may not know your missionary was transferred
to Concordia, KS to open us a new area and to train a new missionary.
He will be a great influence to the members and those with whom he comes
in contact with.
With the great influx of missionaries,
the Independence Missouri Mission has been greatly blessed, as most of
the mission are. As you are aware this mission will be split sometime
in July, making the Wichita, KS mission. What a great blessing it is to
have a Prophet here on earth that is able to know our Fathers will in
furthering the gospel throughout the world.
